A century ago FIS was born and a journey of growing winter sports around the world began. And what a century it has been: of highs and lows, excitement and emotion, extreme courage and unbelievable drama.


It is a century that has ignited a passion for snow sports across the continents. It is a century that has inspired hundreds of millions around the world to take to the slopes. It is a century which we can all be proud of: federations and fans, athletes and organisers, sponsors and partners.


13 disciplines, 135 member associations, thousands of athletes and their support teams, over 7000 events annually, countless volunteers and one love: snow sports.
